Programs in Bük

Festivals and cultural programs are as much a part of the vibrant small town’s life as the permanent services and opportunities offered by the spa complex. In the summer, the spa’s parking lot is often full of life, with several celebrity guests creating an unforgettable atmosphere for the entertainment of the thousands of visitors.
One highlight of these programs is the so called Days of Health and Wine that has become an event of national importance, being Hungary’s largest and most popular gastronomy festival. The event is held during the main season in July, and it is organized around a special theme every year. In addition to concerts, there are also entertainment cooking sessions to the guests’ amazement. There is something for everyone: for young and old, and for rockers and jazz enthusiasts alike. And there are also programs for those who are rather into authentic Hungarian music and dance.

The best traditional bands of Hungary perform in the spa town’s traditional ethno-folk event program that is also very popular with visitors on holiday. Strolling along the stalls selling handicraft product and delicacies, everyone will be captivated by the authentic “cultural wellness.”
In addition to the above, the hand scythe harvest show is another highlight of the summer, awaiting guests with a colorful parade and a craft fair.

Every year from March to October, on Fridays, the attention is on local and regional producers, selling their products at the farmers’ market next to the spa. Those interested can not only browse the products, but also taste and even take home the flavors of the region.

In addition to festivals, several other attractions await guests in the spa town. The local tourist association organizes cycling and Nordic Walking tours to showcase the area’s highlights, while on the open-air stage of Átrium in the town center—only a one-minute walk from Park Hotel—a number of plays or even concerts are held.
The community center—also a minute’s walk away—is a popular venue among performers: every season, several comedians, adventurers and experts amaze the audiences here.

The spa complex is also worth a mention in this section: a number of animation programs (water gymnastics, slides and sports competitions) await beachgoers.
