Lake Sárvíz, Gersekarát
One of the most significant still waters of the county is the 36-hectare lake near Gersekarát that is fed by the Sárvíz and Csengő streams. The landscape of hills, forests and vineyards, the lake on the municipal border and the undisturbed tranquility of the surroundings offer a wonderful setting not only for sports enthusiasts, but also for those who want to relax and enjoy the beach. The lake is home to all local fish, especially carps; also grass carps can be found there, mainly larger specimens, and its white fish population is abundant as well.
